Rewinds are now confirmed against DistroKid’s actual editor state. Joint recovery after corrections, protection against throttled background tabs, and three-stage timing verification prevent internal progress, audio, and visible lyrics from silently drifting apart.

• Every automatically emitted Backspace counts as successful only after DistroKid visibly removes the affected lyrics line’s begin/end values; if confirmation is missing, auto-sync stops safely and does not advance its internal count
• After a fail-safe and loading the matching corrected SRT, up to two previously synchronised lines are reset as a safety buffer; player, DistroKid progress, sync history, and verification log restart together at the possibly changed cue start
• Auto-sync is prepared again after a valid correction, while playback still begins only after the user deliberately starts it
• If the user switches to another tab during auto-sync and the DistroKid tab is throttled in the background, time-jump protection detects the advanced player on return and resets both audio and the open lyrics line to the last safe cue start
• Local verification shows the SRT target, timings sent by the extension, and begin/end values retained in DistroKid’s visible editor as three separate timing stages

• After a fail-safe and loading a corrected SRT, one previously synchronised line is reset as a safety buffer; player, DistroKid progress, sync history, and verification log restart together at the possibly changed cue start
• Pausing in the middle of an active line discards its incomplete marking and returns the player to its start; resuming synchronises the whole line again, while pauses in instrumental gaps remain unchanged
• Overlapping SRT cues remain valid and unchanged in the source file; only the DistroKid adapter ends the current cue effectively when the next one starts because DistroKid cannot process two lines at once
• Local verification labels this shortened end as a DistroKid-specific adaptation and does not report it as an incorrect SRT time
• Instrumental gaps over five seconds are shown with a time-accurate progress bar and remaining countdown to the next lyrics line
• The feature guide now includes a real 26.6-second audio demo driven by its matching SRT timestamps: lyrics, sync history, control window, and waveform advance together; rewinds remove later states while fast-forwarding remains blocked
• After a genuinely installed extension update, the release notes and interactive feature guide open once automatically; a first installation or ordinary browser restart does not trigger them

• Once auto-sync has been enabled with a loaded SRT, the sync history appears at the top left with 0/total; completed lines are clickable while the currently synchronising line is grey and still disabled
• The history preserves the reading position while the user browses it; auto-scroll resumes and shows the latest state as soon as the pointer leaves
• Clicking a completed history line jumps directly to its SRT start; the list locks during correction and reset lines are removed cleanly
• A fixed interactive waveform at the bottom left mirrors the real audio data with a moving playhead, target time and total duration
