Apply recommended offsets directly and download DistroKid’s saved SRT without console code.

• After a completed run, the verification window offers an apply button when a valid start or end recommendation exceeds the ±10 ms deadband; exactly ±10 ms remains unchanged.
• The button applies only the recommended offsets and reloads the page after successfully saving them locally. The user starts playback manually afterwards.
• After saving successfully in DistroKid, the “Download DistroKid SRT” window appears at the bottom right. Click “Download SRT” to retrieve DistroKid’s own output.
• No developer tools, console code or manually copied export hash are needed. Failed downloads can be retried.
• The exported SRT is preserved unchanged. It documents saved editor timings, not necessarily the version delivered to streaming services.

Rewinds are now confirmed against DistroKid’s actual editor state. Joint recovery after corrections, protection against throttled background tabs, and three-stage timing verification prevent internal progress, audio, and visible lyrics from silently drifting apart.

• Every automatically emitted Backspace counts as successful only after DistroKid visibly removes the affected lyrics line’s begin/end values; if confirmation is missing, auto-sync stops safely and does not advance its internal count
• After a fail-safe and loading the matching corrected SRT, up to two previously synchronised lines are reset as a safety buffer; player, DistroKid progress, sync history, and verification log restart together at the possibly changed cue start
• Auto-sync is prepared again after a valid correction, while playback still begins only after the user deliberately starts it
• If the user switches to another tab during auto-sync and the DistroKid tab is throttled in the background, time-jump protection detects the advanced player on return and resets both audio and the open lyrics line to the last safe cue start
• Local verification shows the SRT target, timings sent by the extension, and begin/end values retained in DistroKid’s visible editor as three separate timing stages
• Start and end offsets are independently adjustable: the start value shifts the Space press and the end value its release; an adjusted end is safely capped at the adjusted beginning of the next line
• Average directed residuals and recommendations use only complete DistroKid editor values; starts and ends are evaluated independently with robust outlier rejection
• Active offsets are not counted twice. Inside each value’s ±10 ms deadband, that value deliberately remains unchanged so later runs do not chase ordinary browser jitter

Safer continuation after corrections, complete pause handling, DistroKid-compatible overlaps, and a more informative view of instrumental passages.

• After a fail-safe and loading a corrected SRT, one previously synchronised line is reset as a safety buffer; player, DistroKid progress, sync history, and verification log restart together at the possibly changed cue start
• Pausing in the middle of an active line discards its incomplete marking and returns the player to its start; resuming synchronises the whole line again, while pauses in instrumental gaps remain unchanged
• Overlapping SRT cues remain valid and unchanged in the source file; only the DistroKid adapter ends the current cue effectively when the next one starts because DistroKid cannot process two lines at once
• Local verification labels this shortened end as a DistroKid-specific adaptation and does not report it as an incorrect SRT time
• Instrumental gaps over five seconds are shown with a time-accurate progress bar and remaining countdown to the next lyrics line
• The feature guide now includes a real 26.6-second audio demo driven by its matching SRT timestamps: lyrics, sync history, control window, and waveform advance together; rewinds remove later states while fast-forwarding remains blocked
• After a genuinely installed extension update, the release notes and interactive feature guide open once automatically; a first installation or ordinary browser restart does not trigger them

Precise corrections during a run, protection from accidental sync keys, joint reset of audio and sync progress, clear completion logic and the complete control surface directly on DistroKid.

• Simply pausing and resuming preserves the active SRT line and does not trigger jump correction
• The clicked player time is mapped to its matching SRT interval; when it falls inside a line, correction starts exactly at that line’s beginning
• On backward jumps, Backspace resets only the DistroKid lines synchronised after that point; earlier lines remain intact
• Multiple WaveSurfer time reports from the same click cannot replace the farther target; every required Backspace is performed within one correction
• WaveSurfer interim reports carrying the old player time and internal time calls immediately after Play are not treated as new user jumps
• After a fail-safe stop, the open cue remains stored as a resume point; a text-corrected SRT with the same timeline resumes audio and DistroKid progress together at that exact line
• A different SRT timeline or deliberately clearing the work state safely discards the stored resume point
• Once auto-sync has been enabled with a loaded SRT, the sync history appears at the top left with 0/total; completed lines are clickable while the currently synchronising line is grey and still disabled
• The history preserves the reading position while the user browses it; auto-scroll resumes and shows the latest state as soon as the pointer leaves
• Clicking a completed history line jumps directly to its SRT start; the list locks during correction and reset lines are removed cleanly
• A fixed interactive waveform at the bottom left mirrors the real audio data with a moving playhead, target time and total duration
• The mirrored waveform, DistroKid’s large waveform and the sync history remain parallel controls backed by the same SRT-based correction logic
• A correction selected while paused completes and resumes with the same Play click
• Fast-forwarding during an active line discards its partial timing with one Backspace and returns both audio and synchronisation to that line’s SRT start
• Only DistroKid’s visible “Save Synced Lyrics” control confirms completion; player start and seeking are then locked until the page is reloaded
• During auto-sync, the actual emitted start and end times are logged locally for each line; discarded partial states are removed during a correction and replaced cleanly
• After completion, the user can select their own local audio file and compare the SRT target and executed sync together with start/end deltas; the active offset is shown separately
• After subtracting a deliberate offset, timing residuals are colour-coded: green up to 40 ms, yellow at 41–80 ms, and red above that; guidance directly underneath is informed by current studies and explains the practical limits
• The audio download is hidden in the verification player; instead, the complete line-by-line sync report can be downloaded locally as a TXT file for later review
• Gaps longer than five seconds appear as instrumental passages during verification; shorter gaps remain neutral spaces between lyrics lines
• The verification audio is neither captured, uploaded nor stored persistently, and the executed sync is not falsely labelled as server-side confirmation by DistroKid
• Sync history, mini waveform, control window, sync verification and thank-you window can each be hidden and reopened from the main popup; safety-relevant fail-safe notices remain protected
